AgriProFocus is a network that offers a central ‘marketplace’ where organisations, professionals, resources and knowledge come together. Professionals that make up the network decide to cooperate in one of the AgriHubs or on one of several knowledge themes. The AgriHubs are local networks set up in nine African countries, which provide multiactor arenas in support of entrepreneurship. A constant flow of information and power to connect is at their heart. The visual ToC shows how the hubs are expected to contribute to effective market uptake, which ultimately will improve farmer enterprise performance. The visual dates from 2012.

Background: Some years ago, Hivos searched for an alternative for the ‘standard’ planning and reporting frameworks that would be more appropriate to its own and partners’ practices and that would support us all in strategic thinking and more systematic learning. In 2007 this resulted in a pilot in capacity development support to partner organisations, using a Theory of Change approach, taking a broader perspective and with objectives of strengthening “result-oriented practice”. Since then, this process has gone through several phases of experimentation and reflection.
Antecedentes: Hivos buscó una alternativa para la planificación y presentación de informes marco “estándares” que serían más apropiados para sus propias prácticas y la de sus socios, y que apoye a todos en el pensamiento estratégico y en un aprendizaje más sistemático. En el 2007 esto se tradujo en un proyecto piloto de apoyo al desarrollo de las capacidades de las organizaciones socias, utilizando un enfoque de la Teoría del Cambio, tomando una perspectiva más amplia y con objetivos para fortalecer la “práctica orientada hacia los resultados”. Desde entonces, este proceso ha pasado por varias fases de experimentación y reflexión.

Women@Work is a Hivos campaign aimed at the enforcement of the right to decent work for all women who work in (in)formal economies under poor working conditions and unequal pay. The campaign focuses in particular on the position of women working in production processes for the Dutch/European market. The visual dates from 2012.
